I am a Web Designer and Digital Marketing Consultant.
I began in the industry in 1992 by starting a graphic design business in Portland, Maine. In 1996, I joined Swardlick Marketing Group as Creative Director for their subsidiary, Deep River Interactive, during a time when the internet was just beginning to evolve and a new future for communication, media, and marketing was about to be realized.
When Deep River Interactive merged with the agency in 2000, I served as Digital Marketing Director, where I developed interactive media and award-winning advertising for clients including Maine Office of Tourism, Bentley University, Mott’s and the Maine Turnpike Authority.
In 2006, in an effort to meet the demands of a dynamic online environment, I began to concentrate specifically on digital strategy and content development to better help clients reach their new audience.
During the last five years, I’ve been directing online campaigns that consist of a carefully planned combination of synergistic channels guided by a clear strategy to achieve what we refer to as One Big Buzz.
It’s now 2012, and I’ve taken what I’ve learned and put it to work as a founding partner at Mill Cove Partners, a full-service digital marketing company. In addition to my work at MCP, I serve as a consultant for companies that want to establish an integrated framework for their digital efforts, improve their online presence with effective design and manage their internet advertising and social media activities.
